Winter photography – landscape, townscape, seascape

Whilst it’s tempting to stay indoors, cosy by the fire, the winter months present a perfect opportunity for us to get outdoors to obtain winter photography and help keep your projects on track.

As recommended in the Guidelines for Landscape & Visual Impact Assessment (para. 6.28) and the Landscape Institute’s Technical Guidance Note 06/19, it is important to remember that appraisal and assessment reports are presented with a consideration of seasonal differences, with photography and viewpoints representing the winter season, where leaf cover and the screening effects of vegetation are reduced.
