Hi there!

We know that preparing for your first day at a new job can be a little bit daunting sometimes, so we’ve created this handy guide to help you through the process.

If you have any further questions after reading through this, feel free to drop Allie a message at tribe@tylergrange.co.uk and she’ll be more than happy to help you.

Equally, if there are any accommodations that you need to make the workplace more accessible to you, please send these over to Allie and she’ll get them sorted.

Where do I need to go?

We don’t want you rushing around in a flap, so please come to the office for 10am on your first day. Hopefully that gives you plenty of time to find your way and arrive feeling as relaxed as possible.

But, what office will you be joining us at?

Birmingham

Bristol

Exeter

Cotswolds

Manchester

London

What should I wear?

We don’t have a dress code, so please just wear something! It can be whatever you feel comfortable in – we all know that we work best when we feel great. If your thing is a suit, wear one. Equally, if you prefer jeans and t-shirt, wear that. A ballgown, tuxedo, matching tracksuit, leotard, and tutu … if the work gets done, we’re not going to get fussy about how you look whilst doing it.

With one exception!

When you are on-site, you of course need to take the correct precautions to keep yourself and those around you safe. We provide all the PPE that you will require to do your role and anything that you find yourself missing can be ordered through the Hub.

Who will be there?

We like to ask our new Tribe members to start on a Monday or a Thursday, as those are the days when the most people will be in the office to welcome you.

You’ll meet a member of Hub team who will take you through your induction, as well as a nominated colleague who’ll be your buddy and provide go-to support for your first 3 months at TG.

There’ll be other Tribe members from across different disciplines in the office and probably a furry friend or two as well!

What should I bring?

For starters, don’t worry about bringing lunch, because we like to go out and have a social one together on your first day to get to know each other.

There are some documents that we’ll need to see from you, including your passport or birth certificate, driving licence, and car insurance policy (if relevant).

You’ll be glad to know that all of our offices have access to a never-ending supply of hot and cold beverages, so you won’t go thirsty either.

Plus, why not have a peek at the team you’ll be working with here?
