Landscape Director

Wendy Lancaster

When did you start TG?

Where did you join TG from?

Barton Willmore.

What is the main purpose of your role? Do you have any key specialisms?

To support a thriving, happy and technically excellent landscape team, driving business and ensuring clients know we are a honest and pragmatic consultancy who are also great people to work with.

What drives you? What are your values? Do you support any initiatives outside of TG?

I love helping people become the best version of themselves they can be, helping them to develop technically and understand our industry. Honesty is the most important of the values to me. I believe our role as a consultant is to help the client understand the risks and opportunities presented by their sites so they and their masterplanning team can make informed decisions, and doing it in the most efficient way.

What are your interests? Hobbies? Fun facts?

I love playing in the garden and DIY and I’m always happy when I’m making a mess. I grew up sailing so any chance to get on the water is good for my soul, although I love skiing and am currently learning to ride. In the winter I love watching the rugby, I’m from Dublin originally and have been an Ireland fan since I was a little girl. In the summers I do historic re-enactment, camping with my friends and sometimes visiting Europe for events there. Every four years I go to an event in Germany so I’ve been learning German. I love 70s rock, sci fi and action movies but am especially partial to Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
