When did you start TG?

13/11/2017

Where did you join TG from?

Arboricultural Association  |  The NHS  |  C&G chief office

What is the main purpose of your role? Do you have any key specialisms?

I project manage our B Corp certification (B Impact Assessment), leading on greenhouse gas reporting, sustainable development goals accreditation (SDG Action Manager), impact report collation, policy alignments and industrial benchmarking.  I run the Decarbonisation Team, who help us align to environmental and social governance, implement and monitor agreed KPIs, propose near and long-term reduction strategies for net zero, and upskill and inform the wider team.

I lead on business Accreditations, Certifications and Frameworks, implementing change and achieving the highest scores and milestones.  Drawing on Agile and Prince2 principles, and decades of executive assistance, I am renowned for my exceptional organizational skills, knowledge base and ability to get projects over the line.  Certified to ISO 19001:2018 and Carbon Literate, I lead on Quality and Environmental Management, running our internal and external audits.

What drives you? What are your values? Do you support any initiatives outside of TG?

I thrive on the ability to make a difference and embrace change, whether that’s through problem solving, improving processes, analyzing data, system builds, or project managing.  I love to learn and bring that knowledge into my many roles to support business development.

Having the opportunity to be part of the B Corp journey from the beginning and helping to incorporate that into the business has become a big passion of mine!  It’s such a great community to be a part of as well as making a positive change that contributes positively to society.

What are your interests? Hobbies? Fun facts?

I really enjoy cooking delicious recipes and sharing good times with family and friends.  For downtime, I play puzzle adventure games, my favourites are Artifex Mundi or Domini.  I also love all things Harry Potter and short, country doggie walks (preferably that end at a pub!).  I spent most of my adult life practicing martial arts and enjoy archery, I think the influence of growing up watching legends like Bruce Lee and James Bond inspired me as a child, haha!
