Amy Barley

Bio

Amy Barley is a Consultant with Tyler Grange and has recently finished her studies in Landscape Architecture and has been working in landscape planning for over 3 years. Amy holds both an Honours degree and Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture. Amy is currently on her Pathway to Chartership.​

Amy is experienced in using a software including CAD and Keyscape, QGIS and Adobe Suite which enables her to provide graphics support to project managers for a variety of projects. This includes baseline plans for use in Landscape and Visual Technical Notes, Landscape and Visual Appraisals (LVAs), Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs) and ES Chapters for a wide range of development sectors. Amy also produces Opportunities and Constraints plans for site promotion and Landscape Strategy plans for Landscape Assessments. She has a sound knowledge of planning policy and supporting documentation relating to landscape and visual matters, and is now able to write LVA’s and LVIA’s with little support. Amy has also produced Soft Landscape Proposals for Reserved Matters and Discharge of Planning Condition submissions. Amy is able to undertake site visits and conduct site assessments and capture panoramic photographs from agreed viewpoints.​
