What does the ecological consultancy process with Tyler Grange look like?
Getting started
Your project will kick off with an initial consultation so our ecology consultants can understand your project’s needs and requirements. This gets everybody on the same page.
Once the scope has been agreed, a desk study and site visit are needed so we can get the lie of the land. This is where preliminary surveys will take place, too. All of this is important for the next phase of the project.
Now we’re working from sound foundations
The initial surveys, desk study, and site visits will determine whether or not your project requires more detailed surveys and assessments. This depends on the scale and design of proposals, but our ecological consultants will help determine the next step for your project. Whether this be BNG, EcIA or something else, we will advise you and plan the next phase accordingly.

That’s why our ecology consultants work with the project team from day one, involving the decision makers where appropriate, so issues and opportunities shape the masterplan as it develops (not as a last-minute fix).
